  Me and my wife visit this part of Okanagan quite often and a part of this time involves visits to local wineries. So, a couple of days ago we went to Lunessence. What a pleasant surprise. I'm not really a wine enthusiast, much less of an expert, so I can't judge wines. But we had a really great time at the winery. Beautiful patio with an expansive views overlooking vineyards and Okanagan lake. The patio is partially covered, allowing you to enjoy your wine (and views) even in hottest summer days. Antonio is a great guide. However, the snacks selection could improve. Will gladly visit this winery again.

  I went to Lunessence over a year ago (September 2015) the wine was great, but the girl in the tasting room was horrible, she made us all feel so uncomfortable. If we made any comments on any of the wine, she would "correct us" (even though 2 of us are sommeliers). If we commented on how nice the decor was, she would have a snide rude remark about that. We left and swore we would never go back. Then we get to 2017, I get convinced to go back and give it another try. So we walk in, eager to taste and purchase wine. A man and wife were finishing up their tasting and started to purchase a few bottles. He had 2 staff members helping him, we waited and waited and waited and were being ignored for about 15 minutes. We ended up walking out and no one even apologized, they just let us walk out without tasting. I will never return to this winery and as a hotelier, I will never recommend this winery to any of my guests. Like I said, their wine is good, but not worth the stop to be treated like garbage. There are a lot of surrounding wineries that have great wine and will treat you with respect.

  Had a short but sweet time at Lunessence! Their preference towards Slovakian oak gave their wines a special taste. A few of my favourites while I was there was their Pinot Blanc + Oraniensteiner, as well as their Riesling, which was kind of buttery! #lees. In the end, I took home with me their Syrah. Still convinced that it smelt like barbecue sauce. Antonio was a gem - I recommend you go there and stare into his blue eyes, which pairs wonderfully with all of their wines. Oh, and if you're into biodynamic wines, this is a winery you must stop by! Cheers!
